The Worth and District Branch of the Royal British Legion is pleased to announce that the total amount collected during the recent Poppy Appeal period was £16,500. May we also thank the Volunteers who collected door to door and at the railway station and supermarkets where travellers and shoppers gave generously. These contributions are very important in that they help to meet the continuing welfare needs of ex-Service women and men.
